What is forklift gas?
Forklift gas is LPP, (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) a much cleaner alternative to Diesel.
Liquefied Petroleum Gas is a mixture of flammable hydrocarbon gasses such as butane, isobutane, propane and mixtures of all three LPG gasses. LPG comes from oil and gas wells and is a fossil fuel. The gasses are liquified using pressurisation.
LPG offers faster refuelling , a cleaner running fuel and a fuel at a lower cost.
LPG has a lower running cost than Electric but is not as environmentally friendly.
Gas FLT’s are extremely flexible and are suited for inside and outside usage. Clean and quiet they are a great alternative with no recharging in-between shifts. gas trucks stand head and shoulders above Diesel and electric in terms of flexibility as they generally have a better power to weight ratio.
